rails best way to receive xml data from flex application -

Can someone give me an indication on that? I am able to display XML content on my swf file, but how can I send the converted xml file back to my rail server?

Thanks in advance thanks! Marcus

The best way to do this by rail :).

To walk, this takes 5 minutes. You can generate an app based on models (such as page / post / comment / category ...) that will look like this:

You basically execute 3 commands And you have a full CMS and, by default, everything is done via XML, but it changes (serialized and deserialized) from XML, so that you can use class objects in action script. If you need it, then you can easily convert it to AMF / JSON, which is very powerful. Then you can customize everything from there: Create a class (mavidio), add attributes (title, url, description, comments), manipulate them in action script, then just create / update / delete / save / show And it handles all the / XML requests for the railway.

They have solved hard stuff such as authentication and session management, file uploading, nested sets and inventory etc., which may be possible if you are already running or it is very good.

Works through everything (and operations), which takes full advantage of the railroad. If you want to use Ruby (and not Rail), then you can not do any such problem. Or if you want to use flex and backend, but still want to read / write XML without creating a library entirely to read it; They handle all.

You just do:

Rx.models.index (project) (If you had my.package project Square), and it will return:

Then if you want to save it (or delete it), then you want to do something like this:

  var projects: IList = Rx.models.index (project); Var Project: Project = Project .getItemAt (0); // First item in IILIT; Project.title = "My new headline!"; Project.save ();

// Then, later, with the label "delete project" for a button ... project.delete ();

This is the best library for XML processing and they have a plus.

I asked you. You will take part in many cases of the coast, try RestfulX, it is very sick.

Hope that helps.
