svn - Best method for using Subclipse with an SSH Remote Project in Eclipse -


I have a remote project (via SSH) set up in Eclipse

Duplicate Plugin Remote Project File system can not use:

As a result, you can not use subclass features in remote projects.

Is this my only option to synchronize a remote SSH folder in Elypes ?:

  1. In the local folder with subclipse, rsync / Unison
  2. Distributed revision control system.

It seems that support for the acceptance of DRCS is still in the early stages and there is some instability.

I Synchronizing a local folder with a remote folder in conjunction with an integrated environment eliminated using a local development environment has proved to be very weak and difficult.

Development environment and integration environment require proper amount of setup and coordination. Ultimately however, it is worth the effort to establish the work flow of proper development, integration and production environment.
