osx - Capture sound output on mac -
I am trying to shut down my screensaver from windows to Mac and its feature is responding to system sound output Was there. Direct sound was easy to use on windows, but I can not find any examples of capturing sound output on the Mac. Is it possible without writing something like kernel extensions? Flash is also very easy to use - it also gives the computeSpectrum
method to get raw data or even get FFT transdated data.
All the programs that I have already used or have their own kernel extension. But I do not think it is a good way to install separate programs or use kernel extensions.
One thing that you can do, assuming that soundflowers are open source, how did it. You can not copy & amp; Peptter GPL code, but you can certainly study the techniques used and create your own solution (can point you in the right direction).
You will not find Apple very useful. Sound capturing, in this way, can be used for all kinds of negligible purposes. I am also not sure that the core audio lets you do this without hacks. In any case, there is an implementation of what you are trying to accomplish, I take advantage of it.
