SQL Server 2008 Import Data Wizard doesnt recognize Integer data for a column -

There is an Excel sheet with 10 columns in my head; for a column of "FF5" or other 620 Can be data. The sheet name is IODE.

I am trying to import this data from the SSIS import data wizard in the table IODE's database.

When selecting the source and destination in the wizard, when I click on the preview data in the selection source tables and the view window, I see the tap as 620. After importing this data, the table will have tap instead of 620.

The data type for this column is nvarchar (50), I have many data types like varchar (100), text /.

Accepting only alpha numerical data

I did not write any code for it. I am trying to import data from Excel sheet to a table.

Please help me to resolve it

P> thanks ramm

Do you mean that you have FF 5 or 620 which is the value for the column meaning you do not have one or the other else or is there any empty field in that column?
